@JMaxB Well-spotted! "Hooning" is moving at speed, perhaps with a degree of reckless disregard or perhaps just full of life and energy. Good for describing dogs at play.

@JMaxB I had never heard of the expression .. so asked Jax .. a Kiwi .. who gave me the definition that makes sense in terms of what @miraz wrote … BUT .. it’s also in The Urban Dictionary with a slightly different spin … remember Geoff Hoon UK MP?

@Miraz @JMaxB Haha, we have the word "hooning" in Australia as well, but here it's only used for reckless driving! I'm kind of delighted by the idea of hooning dogs 😄

@Miraz Yeah. She can be a wild one herself, too. But if the dogs are bigger than her, she tends to be careful, which is smart.
