I think owning your music library makes more and more sense the more you get older. The more you listen to the same stuff (likely the music of your youth) over and over the more sense it makes to own the albums. Maybe you add (buy) an album occasionally here or there but you don't find more than one per month or so. That's the point when owning music makes sense.

I feel like I am entering that phase of my life.
