So I may have managed to fulfill a little dream of mine which is using my mastdon app as my blog editor for short posts.

The way this works is by polling my mastodon feed and creating posts for any found new mastodon post. I haven't backfilled this yet, but the plan is to have the canonical version of any post on the blog, kinda fulfilling pose (kinda, by imagining mastodon as a micro post editor).

This all came out of another thing I did which is that edits now sync from the blog to mastodon. Which helps with repairing for example broken daily dogos which happens from time to time when I commit only half of the content.

This is all extremely janky and probably has insane bugs and so forth. But it's cool nonetheless.
