Kiddo and I are having a rare “father son” day.

I have seen this kid basically every day of his life, outside a few days.

I’ve watched him grow.

I’ve watched him rage.

I’ve watched him cry.

But he’s still a new person every day.

I’m so fortunate to have been able to work remotely for his entire life so far. That chapter is coming to a close. There will be more and more days that I just…won’t get to see him, at least not till bed time.

I don’t know how to handle that.

I still don’t get how I’m handling the other one being gone all day at school.
