The whole problem doesn’t exist if you run a persistent dynamic blog app like Wordpress as new content doesn’t equal a redeploy. Man. Hard to believe that this is seemingly an unsolved, thorny problem. (Because the static content is build with each redeploy, I experience downtimes of around 30 seconds any time I update my ssg-based blog at the moment.
